"I was privileged to attend two of the wonderful Green Lifestyle Film Festivals that were organized by the remarkable lady we all lovingly refer to only as Dorit. She is a whirlpool of breathtaking energy and dedication that has always left me breathless. Her outgoing and amenable personality, coupled to her intelligence, her wit, her understanding, her empathy and her sheer unlimited capacity for hard work have always defied my understanding. I do not know how she does it all, but she does. And she does it with style, with class and with boundless love. 

I was fortunate enough to win a Green Apple Award for my film, A Sacred Duty, at the first festival I attended and then Dorit kindly invited me to be a presenter at this year’s festival. The events were memorable, to say the least, and both festivals attracted a wide range of excellent films from film and video producers nationwide.

The theme of the Green Lifestyle Film Festival fills a crucial niche in the cultural, artistic, health, political and scientific fields in modern American society. No other festivals present the kind of vital information that audiences find at the Green Lifestyle  Film Festival, particularly as issues such as global warming, climate change, environmental destruction, declining human health,  dietary concerns and other matters crowd the agendas on Capital Hill as well as in every city, school and home all over the country.

We cannot allow the Green Lifestyle Film Festival to drift into oblivion because there is nothing comparable that can take its place. I say this unequivocally not only in support of Dorit, but in the interests of the nation as a whole."
